Trent Alexander-Arnold has always been a key player for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. This season, he has made 29 appearances in which he has contributed 2 goals and 9 assists. Thanks to his great performance, his name has found its way into Real Madrid’s radar.

Fabrizio Romano claims that, at the Spanish side, they have started to monitor the situation of the player, who has a contract with the Reds until 2025. However, they have not yet had any contact with the Englishman.

Liverpool have no intention of letting the defender go, but nor have they begun talks with Alexander-Arnold about extending his contract. If he is not convinced to renew his contract, Liverpool have two options: either sell him this summer, as it will be the last chance to cash in on his transfer, or risk him leaving for free in 2025.

For the moment, Alexander-Arnold has not spoken about his future and will have the last word. Madrid vow to keep a close eye on his situation in case it happens.
